Cisco Live 2026 is a wrap, and I'm still riding the energy from an incredible week in Las Vegas.
I had the privilege of representing
Cisco Meraki Support at the TAC Booth alongside an amazing group of engineers:
Roy Spielmaker ,
Jincy Joseph , Richard Tucker,
Alejandro Flores ,
Jesse Alter , and
Fouad Ahmed . Watching them engage directly with customers, answering real questions, solving real problems, and representing our organization with confidence, was something I'm genuinely proud of.
But what made this week truly stand out for me was the people. As Cisco Meraki Support continues to integrate deeper into the Cisco Customer Experience organization, Cisco Live became the launchpad for relationships that had only existed on a screen. I finally got to meet Kristopher Gabrielsen face to face, someone I've been collaborating with for months. And then there were the reunions, people I hadn't seen since before the pandemic. Some of them, 7+ years.
Jesse Nyce,
Raul Ricano,
Abraham Vargas Fernández,
Mia Lynch, and Mehul Patel… seeing those familiar faces reminded me just how much the relationships we build in this industry matter. I even got to reconnect with former colleagues from my time at
LookingPoint, Inc. ,
Trevor Butler and
Marshall Hill. Small world.
The senior leadership presence was everything.
Jorge Benitez, my VP, his energy and genuine investment in the people around him never goes unnoticed. I was especially glad he was there spending time directly with our engineers. That means more than he probably knows. I also have to call out
Hector Acevedo, we spent way too much time geeking out over luxury watches and I regret nothing. 😄
Two conversations, though, I'll carry with me long after the conference buzz fades.
Marty Martinez didn't just listen when I shared the direction I want to take my career, he acted. He already knew the right people, started making connections on my behalf, and even offered to speak directly with my Sr. Director to help support my path. That's rare. I left that conversation feeling genuinely seen. And
Kelley Francis, someone currently in a role I'm actively working toward, offered her time and guidance without hesitation. That kind of generosity from leaders who don't have to give it means everything.
And then there's
Oliver Tuszik. A few weeks before Cisco Live, I left a comment during a company-wide leader check-in about the importance of continuing to engage customers directly on AI and their needs. Oliver saw it, called it out publicly, and agreed. When I met him in person at the conference, he told me to keep raising my voice. ✅ Challenge accepted.
Cisco Live 2026 reminded me why we do this. The technology is exciting, but it's the people, the conversations, and the connections that make this industry worth showing up for every day. Grateful for the whole experience. Already looking forward to what comes next.
