I am so grateful for those that gave me a chance - Westinghouse: Larry Teverbaugh, SAS Institute: Scott Turman, BMC Software and CA: Paige Erickson, and OKTA: Rob Osterhouse. Information technology was a wild ride since 1984! The PC revolution, the LAN/Networking wave, the internet, ERP and Y2K, the DOT COM wave, Thin Client, Cloud Computing, and AI/Machine Learning. Open source, mobile and smartphone, Social Media, Big Data and Analytics, the Internet of Things, and Crypto - Just WOW! So many great friends made, and so many great stories (I hope a few pop up here). I have nothing but appreciation in my heart. What now? Well so far I think I need a vacation from my retirement. Tamra has built a story board of travel. It will be visiting kids and grand kids from here to Alaska. Rounds of golf, miles on the adventure bike, and new personal bests on the race track. And importantly I hope to stay connected with you.

Splunk and Cisco innovate quickly and continuously, and working here requires a passion for technology and a love for learning. Thankfully, we have had some excellent leadership over my 11 years that have helped steer the company through some exceptional growth, and during our acquisition to our new home at Cisco. The future of our company, especially with all our investments in AI and our Agentic SOC solutions, is going to be exceptional. I am looking forward to embracing our AI/ML roadmap and delivering maximum value for our customers for the years ahead. Here's to many more years together! Thank you Splunk and Cisco!
