SWID, the Society of Women in Industrial Distribution, is the latest addition to the Industrial Distribution family. SWID serves all individuals who are dedicated to supporting women in the Industrial Distribution field.
Established in January of 2013, SWID complements our sister organization, PAID, by focusing on professional soft-skills and personal development. To us, personal growth is just as important as professional development.
Students are provided with opportunities to…SWID, the Society of Women in Industrial Distribution, is the latest addition to the Industrial Distribution family. SWID serves all individuals who are dedicated to supporting women in the Industrial Distribution field.

Students are provided with opportunities to become mentees, explore career options, and more importantly, hone skills that will help them decisively navigate through life. SWID strives to create a forum where students, faculty, and industry professionals can openly discuss experiences and challenges about their work – life achievements.
By encouraging networking with faculty, alumni, peers, and professionals, we will achieve our goal of developing exceptional ID students who are confident leaders, workers, and individuals. -
