Our customers can now stake the XDC they already hold directly on-chain through the Uphold platform, earning up to 6% in annual rewards.* No third-party wallets, no masternode setup, no 10 million token minimums. Until today, the only way to stake XDC was natively on the network - running or delegating to masternodes. No major U.S. exchange offered it. Now Uphold does. XDC Network is an enterprise-grade Layer 1 built for trade finance, ISO 20022 compliant, and targeting the $2.5 trillion trade finance gap identified by the Asian Development Bank. Uphold has been one of the largest custodians of XDC globally for some time, and this was a natural extension - giving our customers access to on-chain staking rewards while contributing to the security of the network. Today, I can finally reveal what that start-up is: Holly House Gatwick. Holly House is a beautiful Victorian manor house, over 150 years old and set within 17 acres of grounds, just ten minutes from Gatwick Airport. I am pleased to announce that today we received full planning permission on our first application for the change of use of Holly House from a private home to a hotel under Use Class C1. Holly House Gatwick will bring a completely different kind of hotel experience to the area: an independently run boutique hotel combining the character of a unique historic setting with the convenience of being close to Gatwick, while offering genuine value without compromising on quality or experience. The idea is simple: rather than driving for hours before an early morning flight, guests can arrive the night before and be just a ten-minute transfer from the terminal. At Holly House Gatwick, your holiday starts the moment you check in. I am especially proud of achieving this in a conservation area, where the planning process involved additional complexity and the input of seven different consultants across planning, architecture, heritage, highways, ecology, arboriculture and landscaping. Alongside this, I have been managing the renovation works permitted at Holly House. As anyone who has taken on an old property will know, there is a huge amount involved, but it has been incredibly exciting to begin bringing the vision to life. With this major stage approved and so much already achieved in less than a year, it is now time to move full speed ahead with the building regulations process and the remaining works to the property. Most importantly, none of this would have been possible without my dad, Cem Miralay. A year ago, I thanked him for being my investor and giving me this opportunity. Today, I want to thank him again for believing in the vision, trusting me to lead it and supporting me every step of the way. I am so excited about what lies ahead. In January, 2013, PlayJam launched GameStick - the worlds most portable TV games console - via the the crowd-funding site, Kickstarter. The 30 day campaign hit 100% of it's targeted funding in under 30 hours and closed with $650K raised, enabling the project to move into its production phase ahead of a global retail launch.
