One person focused on inbound (most of our demos come inbound: socials, Google, content, referrals) Creating and distributing content across every channel and constantly tweaking it based on impact/results, he built our own in-house platform that generates content from our data and distributes it to hundreds of accounts and sites daily Building and maintaining a creator and partnerships network Everything SEO and AEO, there's a lot to unpack here (we're also working with an agency on the AEO side) Building out tools and making them go viral 2. One person focused on outbound Targeted value-based outbound powered by Claude, only a few companies are doing that the way he is doing it (e.g. building out custom platforms and tools for prospects just to reach out to them,...) this person set a completely new bar He runs everything solo and in-house (domain health, sequencing, ICP targeting, list building, signals, building out the tools, etc.) using Claude, the Crustdata (YC F24) MCP, and more tools 3. Over the course of the week, I deeply explored the foundations of the entrepreneurial process, from identifying problems using the 5 whys concept to launching a startup with the goal of helping one person. It was a great experience learning how to take a startup concept from an initial idea to a structured business model. A huge thank you to my professor, Daniel Ahmadizadeh, and Sophia Huh, for sharing their expertise, guiding our ideas, and making the sessions so enjoyable. During our India Design Mission to Germany, we had the privilege of exploring Frankfurt's design ecosystem, exchanging ideas with global design leaders, and understanding how design drives innovation, cities, and industries. A memorable highlight was meeting Henry Hesse from MÄCKLER ARCHITEKTEN, the leading architect behind Frankfurt Airport Terminal 3, where we gained valuable insights into large-scale architecture, urban planning, and human-centric design. We were also honoured to meet Ms. Suchita Kishore, Consul General of India in Frankfurt, whose encouragement reinforced the importance of global collaboration in education and design. At Dr. D. Y. Access to credit is one of the most pressing socioeconomic issues in the country. Creditworthy people and small businesses are shut out simply because the system can't see them clearly. That's why I started Kita. After Rhea Malhotra and I got into Y Combinator, we started getting inbound from all over the world from lenders who resonated with what we were building and the problem we were solving – including from markets like the US. Honestly, I assumed that manual underwriting was already a solved problem in the developed world. But, after talking to dozens of community lenders and banks, you find the same thing we saw in emerging markets: teams buried in manual work, piecing together loans by hand. Now, Kita is building responsible AI to handle the most tedious and complex parts of credit assessment, turning loan review that once took weeks into minutes. By helping lenders make sense of fragmented borrower documents and context, we enable creditworthy borrowers were previously overlooked to finally be considered. Ambience is building AI documentation software to record patient appointments, generate comprehensive medical notes, and standardize coding/authorization workflows. Michael Ng, Nikhil Buduma Reveal Technology raised $30 million in Series B funding from Ballistic Ventures, Shield Capital, Booz Allen Hamilton, and others. Reveal’s two main offerings are 3D mappings generated from drone videos and mobile biometrics. They are deployed with the US Army, Special Operations Command, Marine Corps, and other NATO forces. Garrett Smith Prophet Security raised $30 million in Series A funding from Accel and Bain Capital Ventures. Prophet is applying agentic AI to Security Operations Centers (SOCs), or hubs for cybersecurity defenses within an organization.
