He has won medals at major competitions and continues to improve with every season.His biggest international success came in 2025 when he won the gold medal at the Dubai Para Athletics Grand Prix with a winning throw of 49.09m. In 2026, he added another gold by winning the Indian Open Para Athletics International Championships.Earlier, Sagar claimed the bronze medal in the men's discus throw F43/F44 event at the Tunisia Para Athletics Grand Prix in 2023.One of the highlights of his career came at the 2025 World Para Athletics Championships, where he finished fourth in the men's discus throw F44 final and recorded a personal best of 51.93m, narrowly missing out on a medal.Heading into his Commonwealth Games debut, Sagar will be aiming to build on his recent performances and challenge for a place on the podium in Glasgow.
