I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Santander for their partnership over the past several years. Their support has played an important role in BDR's growth to date, and I am grateful for their continued collaboration. Particular thanks go to Max Westwood Matt Jennings and Ash Chopra for their help and commitment throughout this relationship. I am also delighted to announce our new partnership with HSBC, which provides BDR with the additional firepower needed to enable and expedite our next stage of growth. I would like to thank Andy Oates and Russ Fisher for their support in structuring this partnership. My thanks also go to DMH Stallard LLP for their excellent legal counsel and for ensuring this transaction completed in a timely and efficient manner. And there was plenty to raise a glass to: ✅ We’re 16% ahead of last year and firmly on track with our three-year growth plan. ✅ 18 of our people are on track for their best ever year in recruitment. ✅ Our technology division is growing at a massive 66% and winning an ever growing list of impressive projects. ✅ Over 300 clients attended SF’s exclusive peer-set events across the U.K. in H1 alone. ✅ And more clients than ever before are trusting us with hires at the highest levels of their organisations. We also gave an SF send-off to a long-standing and valued team member Lisa Kidson (nee Chetwynd) who is embarking on a new life and adventure in France. We wish her all the best and bonne chance! After a hectic day in London with Richard McNeilly last Wednesday - on one of the hottest days of the year ☀️ - we headed back up north on the train. As we settled down in our seats, football legend Jamie Carragher came to sit with us (it was a busy train and to be fair he had little choice!). He was great company and we had a lovely conversation, which included discussing some of his career highlights as well as England’s chances in the World Cup. And the biggest surprise of all - Richard McNeilly showing incredible restraint in not talking about his own illustrious footballing prowess back in the day! 😂😂😂 One day I will post about something business-related! But until then as some of you know I just can’t resist a good selfie!!
