Samantha Drake shared thisHuge thanks to Dean Elson and Brad Hayman for all their support in making this launch a success!Samantha Drake shared thisThis week we launched our new Performance Nutrition food concept! 💪🏻 Built on evidence-based nutrition, the concept takes principles typically used in sport and exercise and applies them to everyday eating. It is designed to support how people feel and perform throughout the working day, while also contributing to longer term health and wellbeing goals. The offer is structured around three clear pillars, Fuel, Perform and Recover, with every dish created to serve a specific purpose. This makes it easier for our guests to choose food based on how they want to feel, whether that is sustained energy, focus or rest and recovery. This comes at a time where we are seeing a clear shift in customer behaviour, with increasing demand for food that is both convenient and genuinely nutritious. There is also a growing focus on protein, fibre and nutrient density, alongside more mindful eating habits and smaller, more considered portions. To support the launch, on Monday we hosted an event for our teams to explore the concept in practice, showcasing the range across counters, grab and go, and drinks. It was a great opportunity to bring everything to life and share how the concept can be delivered on site. Looking forward to seeing this implemented across the business. Big thank you to everyone involved! Adam Kirsty Samantha Ian Gavin LOUISE Daniel Restaurant Associates UK

Samantha Drake shared thisI've worked with Jo before, and where she truly excels is her attention to detail. When working with Creatives on text-heavy or complex designs, often the designs are visually appealing, but time is wasted on reverts because of typos/spelling mistakes. Jo always dots her i's and crosses her T's :-) I can also highly recommend her for quality and affordable 2D animation if you need to do any training videos or presentations.Samantha Drake shared thisBuilding a brand? Samantha Drake reposted thisSamantha Drake reposted thisNew Year, new incredible services…we are so back!!! Hello! I’m so excited to be back and ready to kick off 2025! After a lovely break, I’m officially back open for business and ready to help you with your branding and website design needs. Here’s what you can look forward to this year from me: 1. A streamlined brand identity package including everything you need to start strong. - Perfect for quick launches or testing a new business idea without making a big investment. - You’ll get the core elements you need to look professional right from the start, without the commitment of a full branding project. - Great if you’re exploring a side hustle, want to refresh your look on a budget, or need something simple and effective to start building your audience It’s all about giving you the confidence to put yourself out there. Get what you need to hit the ground running - no extras, just the basics done right. 2. A full branding package created to take the stress of design completely off your plate. - This is for you if you’re already established but have outgrown your current branding or want to reposition your business for the next chapter. - You’ll walk away with a consistent identity to apply across every platform and touchpoint, without having to lift a finger. - No more second-guessing. This investment does the heavy lifting for you, freeing you to focus on other areas of your business. With a solid foundation in place, you won’t need to hire a designer again anytime soon! I don’t offer set packages for web design because every site has its own unique needs but please believe me when I say, you really need to stop trying to do this yourself and bring in a professional. Your website is one of the most important tools for your business. It's often the first interaction people have with your brand. Your site needs to be inclusive and compliant so that everyone can engage with your content. This isn’t just the right thing to do - it’s essential for legal reasons. DIY websites = wasted hours, bad moods, shoddy results and lost customers. SO Let’s make 2025 your best year yet! If you’d like to work together on bringing your business into the real world with beautiful design that attracts new clients, makes your business look legitimate and makes you more money, you can DM me or visit my website link in the comments! Samantha Drake shared thisAnd that's a wrap! What a busy year it's been—I'm so privileged to have played even a small part in our collective achievements. As I reflect on the year, it's always the people who stand out for me, and this year has been full of highlights. Seeing Ayla Reeve create beautiful things and earn a well-deserved promotion. Celebrating David Simpson being recognized as the SME of the year, for all the thought and execution he put into delivering the Venues Marketing plan. Jumping for joy at Junior Geyoro's promotion and watching him shine in his new role at Chartwells Universities. Admiring Jeni Edwards FIH in her element, hosting an unforgettable end-of-year food tour for us. Watching Elizabeth Barnett step into her new role with grace, determination, and a "get-it-done" attitude from day one. Being inspired by Kenny Leamy, who achieved so much professionally despite facing tough circumstances. Ella Grieves incredible design work always makes me smile, so talented! But, Ella, it's you being you that I enjoy most of all :-) Welcoming Yoey Maxwell-Pang, who’s only been here a few months but already feels like she's been part of the team forever, adding so much value. Last but not least, admiring Gavin Gooddy, leading it all—spinning a million plates, never missing a deadline, and doing it all with a smile. Here’s to all the amazing people I get to work with every day (too many to mention but you know who you are 😉 ) and to an even brighter year ahead. Cheers to 2024! 🥂Samantha Drake shared this🎄✨ On behalf of the executive team at Restaurant Associates Group, we have a message to our amazing associates across the country. ✨🎄 Thank you for all your hard work and commitment over the past year. It’s because of you that we continue to set the standard for excellence across our business. ❄️ We would like to wish you and your loved ones a happy holiday season and a fantastic new year. ⭐ In the meantime, we have put together a short video to express our gratitude and share some of the year’s highlights with you. #HappyChristmas #festive #associates Matt Thomas Sally Hillman Phil Clerkin Pete Champain Gavin Gooddy Sue Thompson Victoria Marshall Chartered MCIPD Restaurant Associates Venues Ways to be Well

Samantha Drake reposted thisDid you know that Henley Business School’s parent University, the University of Reading is a leading agricultural university in the world with alumni farming everywhere, and is also a leading university in climate science and the understanding of global warming? And here is an article that’s really important about the difference between regenerative agriculture and organic agriculture. Why does it matter.? Well it matters because regenerative agriculture’s aim is to bring back to life ecosystems full of nature, insects, birds and healthy soil that will produce better food, support farmers in developing countries and cause natural systems to thrive. Organic agriculture focuses on avoiding synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, adhering to strict certification standards, and promoting soil health and biodiversity through regulated methods. Its primary, important, aim is to prevent harm rather than actively restore ecosystems. Regenerative agriculture, on the other hand, more proactively seeks to enhance and restore ecosystems, emphasizing practices like cover cropping, no-till farming, and holistic land management. It prioritizes soil health, biodiversity, and carbon sequestration, aiming for ecological restoration and resilience. Fans of Clarkson's Farm may well have seen Jeremy stumped by the same question earlier this summer...! A new study, led by Dr Tom Staton from the the University of Reading and published in Nature Communications Earth and Environment shows that greater education about sustainable agriculture in the UK is indeed needed in order to better support farmers. The research reveals that farmers are less concerned about the cost of growing organic veg – instead, it is the lack of long-term thinking from shoppers, landowners and policymakers about the benefits of sustainable farming that is preventing an organic revolution. Samantha Drake reposted thisSamantha Drake reposted thisHope and humanity. The ship. The turning. The waves. The tides. Privileged to be part of the crew invited to the Wildfarmed HQ yesterday and what a day it was. George Lamb’s evocative address to us all paved the way for the ultimate call to action; we have a once in a generation opportunity to turn this ship around and the time is now. Waiting isn’t an option. The focus on procurement and the ability for it to ‘change landscapes’ really hit hard. So for those who have roles within this, please, please realise your impact and power. You play such a crucial part in the future of the planet, please don’t waste it. The feet on the ground, wandering the fields, absorbing the science and the emotion clearly felt by founder, Andy Cato, was disarming, palpable and life-giving. Seeing is believing and, heck, is there a new religion, faith, following growing with an unstopping fervour. COWS. Anyone in doubt of the crucial role these incredible beasts play in the future health of our soils (and therefore us), please read, search, find all the information, from the churning of the soil to the microbes in the dung, we need them, they need us. RECIPROCITY PEOPLE 🙌🏻! And lastly, the food; a demonstration of just how the flour is being used throughout by those determined to make a difference and provide the best for their customers. The fact is, there is no hope without change. And as humans, bestowed upon this earth to care for it as best we can, look forward, beyond the deck and let’s just get on with it. Samantha Drake shared thisSo this is my new job at Restaurant Associates UK. I get to hang out with the incredible people at Wildfarmed and learn about the good things they are doing to help heal our planet and improve our food quality. I learned about the importance of soil health and moving away from monocultures, and I got to hang out with fab people, take a walk in the Cotswolds, and eat a delicious bao bun made from Wildfarmed flour. It was a pleasure to learn more about the vineyard, their history and the passion behind producing such excellent wines. What impressed us most was seeing firsthand the vineyard’s commitment to sustainability and environmentally friendly practices. The visit was also a wonderful opportunity to catch up with colleagues, meet team members from across the business, and spend a fabulous day together outside of our usual working environment. Experiences like these remind us of the importance of connection, learning and teamwork. #Vacherin #Wildsharkvineyard #Englishwine #winetasting #Sustainability #Teambuilding #Hospitality
